Volunteer Work Day at Pepperwood Preserve
You will be working in Pepperwood's barn meadow to remove invasive species and to plant native bunch grass starts. The plantings will help stabilize the soil during the winter rains, increase biodiversity, and create habitat and food sources for little critters.
Dress appropriately for the warmer or cool weather and for working off-trail on slightly sloped terrain by wearing layered work clothes, sturdy boots, sunscreen and a hat. Bring a water bottle, friends and family. Tools, work gloves and lunch will be provided.
