Water-Wise Workshop: Smart Irrigation Techniques for Spray or Drip
First session in the Spring 2017 Water-Wise Landscaping Workshop Series presented by the City of Napa and UC Master Gardeners of Napa County.
After reviewing the eight principles of water-wise landscaping, City Water Division staff and a local irrigation pro will provided tips on sprucing up your sprinkler system for the summer, taking control of your timer, avoiding water waste violations, using the Sprinkler Times online tool/smartphone app, and upgrading to a weather-based "Smart" controller. A local Master Gardener will help solve the mysteries of drip irrigation, the most efficient water delivery system for plants. Real-life drip applications will be discussed and system components will be displayed.
